Carina is currently a part-time groomer with over 18 years experience.
Carina has always loved dogs since she could crawl, and her interest in pursuing a career in the pet industry grew during a high school co-op placement at local CKC registered kennel who bred and handled Doberman Pinschers.
Over the course of Carina's career, she first started as a bath and brush assistant at Petsmart and worked as a veterinary assistant before moving on to a successful career as an Animal Services Officer. Her passion for dogs and promoting for responsible pet ownership led to the start of WOOF-A-PALOOZA, an annual event that engages pet owners in the community of Vaughan and surrounding areas.
You most likely will find Carina hanging out with her miniature poodle Tess either doing agility, lure coursing, dock diving, or planning some sort of fun event!

Ever since Meagan was a baby, everyone knew she’d have a future with animals, but as she grew older, she never imagined that she’d be a groomer, let alone own her own grooming business. Originally, she had gone to college to become a veterinary technician and had been a VT for 10 years along with being a bather part time since high school. Sadly, after over 10 years in the veterinary field, burn out struck and resulted in stepping out of the field to find herself and her passion again. After reconnecting with the groomer she had first met over 15 years ago, she started off bathing again and soon after that her spark reignited.
Fast forward a few years later and here she is and has never been happier thriving with her grooming business and always looking on how to continue to grow - especially when there’s always so much to learn with grooming.
When Meagan isn’t grooming, you’ll find her with her rescue pups - Jazz (chiX), Ellie & Coco (Frenchies), and her rescue kitties Hippo & Odin. When she’s out and about you can most likely find her out on the trails hiking or running, on a softball diamond, checking out some local food joints or out for a drive in the country with her other half.
